Angels are said to descend in dazzling all white, shining like the stars in the sky. It is unspeakable, of how their beauty inside and outside is. We too have our own earthly angels, who dress in official attire that stuns. How it goes they are called angels well; they are messengers sent by the Almighty and it is believed that whatever they speak, is what God has spoken. They too are servants like angels.
Today, we are blinded by some of the churches. Colossal masses of innocent congregants are taken advantage of their spiritual desperation. How come we never see it clearly? When it’s right in front of us. Yeah, maybe we are blinded by their ‘angelic’ light. We see them and hear of them in churches asking for high priced offerings to pray for your sins and get rid of your lifelong challenging problems. Again, they suggest that true believers give bounty tithe and give willingly towards building the church. It’s interesting how people never cease or learn from other people’s experiences. At the end of the day, they are blinded and ripped off the little things they own. All in the name of salvation and seeking redemption in Christ. All these are done in church. The one place that is holy and intended to connect us to our Creator. A place that we all know should be the last place of greed and evil. Few go home complaining about how they have been played in the church and blame their ‘angel’. More of a demonic angel I would say. They portray the dark traits and are driven solely by greed, and they use manipulation, lies and others black magic. They dress in official attires of wonderful color and at times dress in robes. They are angels because they continuously refer to themselves that way. With the sole purpose of delivering humanity to God’s glory. The big reward of course, eternity.
Every sermon, they commonly preach about adultery, pureness, lust and self-control. Yet they themselves fail to adhere to their own teachings. Barely upholding the value of respect. Talk of preaching water and drinking wine. Hypocrisy defines them. On the news you hear of them being found sleeping with another man’s wife while others are found to be impregnating young girls in villages. Talk of using the wrong words to gain entrance to different gates. Others found to be using black magic after deceiving crowds that it is the works of the Almighty argue that as long as it performed ‘miracles. Yet still on the Sabbath, they come and raise their hands in the name of the Lord. Is it a joke or what? I can’t understand why one will do all these and throw dirt all over religion. Where do they even get such audacity? It is more of a cliché, but it is true that under that white garment, they are just a wolf in sheep’s clothing. A dark soul with a dark heart and soul. Driven by greed, a demonic rather than heavenly angel.
